I have had a love affair with beads for 35 years, and have been creating flowers from beads for the last 25 years. I fell in love with the art of French Beaded flowers after seeing a beaded rose in a bead shop. I literally got weak in the knees! This was at a time when I was crafting with dried flower arrangements in my hand painted and decorated baskets, as well as also making beaded jewelry. This beaded rose represented both of my passions for flowers and beads all in one spectacularly beautiful representation. I stopped at nothing to learn this craft, which was no easy feat as there were no classes and very few resources at that time. I am so glad I persevered as I still get so much joy creating these beautiful forever flowers and plants.
