I have lived on the peninsula for 35 years and have spent countless hours on the trails and in the open spaces of San Mateo County and beyond. Painting outdoors enhances my love and appreciation for our stunning and precious surroundings. Observing nature in the changing light, with all senses engaged, transports me to a state of wonder which I hope to convey on canvas. My paintings are expressions of memory of unique times and places and my intention to reflect the seasonal beauty of our beloved Bay Area.
